Today I was reminded of how collaboration and teamwork can help us meet our goals.  My husband and I took our two young kids to the creek on our property.  Our purpose was to get the kids out of the house for a couple hours.  Their purpose was to find tadpoles, crawfish, and minnows.  They found it was much easier to catch the quick tadpoles if they teamed up with their nets.  We all had a role in helping them accomplish their goal.  I helped by searching the water for potential catches.  The kids worked together with their nets, one in the front and one in the back, to capture the tadpoles.  My husband carried the bucket, too heavy for the kids to carry, that would be the critters play place until they were released before we returned back home.  When one of the kids waivered from the critter of focus, the other would remind them of what critter they were looking for.  It took all of us to help the kids meet their goal.
